PROCUREMENT &LOGISTICS OFFICER:
 
·         All Procurement related tasks such as Local Purchase, Tendering, and Petty Purchase.
·         Forecasting and Managing Procurement needs.

·         Managing Receiving, storage, Installation & Functioning of all Biomedical Equipment and Non Biomedical Equipment in the hospital.
·         Managing contracts of civil works(Infrastructure) related to Hospital.
SUPPLY CHAIN  & INVENTORY MANAGEMENT:
 
·         Establishment of Separate Storage Areas for Medicines, Surgical Items, Lab Items and Biomedical Equipments in  Hospital
·         Establishment the needs of Designated Warehouse in a Secondary care Hospital.
·         Inventory Management of Medicines & Surgical Supplies.
·         Management of Periodic Internal & External Audits and Stock Counts.
·         Medicine Inventory management through MIMS portals.
·         Emergency Management of Supplies during COVID-19 and other natural calamities.

SPECIALIZED AMBULATORY CARE PHARMACY SERVICES:
·         Worked as PRINCIPAL PHARMACIST of OPD outlet at Shifa International Hospital Islamabad.
·         Established Two Pharmacy outlets with collaboration of OGDCL Pakistan in F-8 Medical Centre and in Blue Area Head Office for Empanelled Patients.
·         Worked as In charge Pharmacist on various Pharmacies of Shifa External Services Division Islamabad.
·         Managing Daily Tasks of Inventory Management.
·         Preparing NEAR MISS ERROR LOG reports on weekly and Monthly basis.

·         Coordinating the Hospital ER services through providing prompt emergency Medicines.
·         Providing supportive and first aid treatments, antidotes, Poison Drug Information.

·         Assisting the ED Staff during Emergency CODE BLUE.
·         Ensuring the correct dispensing of the critical and life saving drugs in ED.
·         Managing, refilling, expiry checking and maintaining the Record of CRASH-CART drugs used during Code Blue.

EXTEMPORANEOUS PHARMACY SERVICES:
Extemporaneous compounding of different oral and topical preparations including; Magic MouthWash, Syp Indomethacin, Syp Potassium Chloride, SyPotassium Phosphate, Syp Magnesium Sulphate, Syp Omeprazole, Susp Ciprofloxacin, Sodium Citrate Solution, Topical Preparations including; Zinc Oxide Paste, Magnessium sulphate Paste, Emulsifying Ointment, GTN Ointment, EUSOL Solution and many other as per physician’s order.

RETAIL /COMMUNITY PHARMACIST:
My Job Description Included;
·         Dispensing prescription medicines to the public;
·         Checking dosage and ensuring that medicines are correctly and safely supplied and labeled (pharmacists are legally responsible for any dispensing errors);
·         Supervising the preparation of any medicines (not all are supplied ready made-up by the manufacturer);
·         Keeping a register of controlled drugs for legal and stock control purposes;
·         Selling over-the-counter medicines;
·         Counseling and advising the public on the treatment of minor ailments;
·         Advising patients of any adverse side-effects of medicines or potential interactions with other medicines/treatments;
·         Preparing dosette and cassette boxes, usually for the elderly but also for those with memory/learning difficulties, where tablets are placed in compartments for specified days of the week;
·         Undertaking Medicine Use Reviews (MUR), an advanced service to help patients understand how their medicines work and why they have to take them;
·         Managing a needle and syringe exchange;
·         Monitoring blood pressure and cholesterol levels;
·         Offering a diabetes screening service;
·         Managing, supervising and training pharmacy support staff;
·         Budgeting and financial management;
